Jerry Moriarty was CEO of the IAPF until retiring in 2025, having joined the IAPF in 2007.

Jerry was also on the board of PensionsEurope from 2012 until 2025.

 He was also a member of theEIOPA’s Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group.

Prior to the IAPF he worked for the Pensions Authority, Sun Life Financial of Canada in the UK and Irish Life in Dublin.

In 2014 he was voted Irish Pensions Personality of the Year and in 2016 was named by Pensions Insight as one of the Top 50 People in Pensions.

Eric has spent over 36 years working in the pensions industry with multiple leading firms and has developed a particular expertise in the DB pensions area.

Eric holds degrees from Trinity College Dublin and the National University of Ireland and has also attended executive educational courses at Harvard Business School, Said Business School, Oxford and Judge Business School, Cambridge. 

He is a member of the Society of Actuaries Retirement practices committee (Retrisk) that meets in Washington DC every January and was afforded affiliate status to the Society of Actuaries having been nominated by two senior Irish Actuaries. 

Working in Redbrucke since May 2023 and have been involved in the design, development and implementation of specialised DB and DC systems for clients. High degree of competency in SQL/Access databases, VBA, Excel and RStudio

Hold a Degree in History and Politics from DCU and has also studied Maths and Physics in UCD.
